Coming out of winter hibernation, we have a tendency to go too fast, and start sprinting forward before remembering how to walk.
Join us to awaken for spring in a grounded way, drawing in the nutrients of the earth to enable us to grow. From there we can connect with the higher energy of the sun which allows us to flourish forth.
Accompanied by live music we will be doing Kundalini yoga, chanting & breathwork for a full body spring clean, ending with a soundscape to help us embody the work we’ve done.
The soundscape will include the kalimba, harmonium, South-African kora, fiddle, dijeridoo, chimes, guitar, voice, harmonies and Tibetan singing bowls.
Location: The Studio, the Salisbury Centre, Salisbury Place
Please arrive ten minutes early to get settled and ready to start, and bring your own mat.

Jenny Smith is a certified and experienced teacher of Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga, and Mother & Baby Yoga.
Jenny began practicing yoga regularly in 2012 whilst living in Brazil. Suffering from various physical and mental effects of a near fatal car accident, she went along to a Kundalini Yoga class in the hope that it would help in her recovery. What she found was a comprehensive physical and spiritual practice that has seen her through various challenging times in life.
Following on from the birth of her daughter in 2017, she trained with Sally Parkes in Pregnancy, Post-Natal and Mother & Baby Yoga, and most recently with Dawn Wright Yoga in the gentle yet challenging style of Yin Yoga. She is passionate about sharing these various practices with others.
Jenny worked in the corporate world for many years and delivered lunchtime yoga classes to her colleagues to counter the ill effects of long term desk use. She has witnessed firsthand the aches and pains associated with sitting all day at a desk, along with the mental stress that comes from overstimulation in a fast paced office environment. Her Corporate Yoga classes are designed to address these issues using physical movement, breathing techniques and meditation.
